- fits more compressive than an everyday bra, but not too tight (you're perfectly comfortable taking deep breaths); 

- does not rub or disturb anywhere around the armpit, near the straps or seams. If the bra has hooks or snaps, make sure they do not irritate the skin;

- have straps that are safe and comfortable. If the straps are too tight, they will cut into the skin. If the straps are too loose, they will shift or slide off your shoulders;

- allows you to lift your arms over your head (size test). If the elastic chest band moves up over your chest, you need a smaller size, or you need to readjust the hooks;

- if cups are too tight and your breasts or body is "popping out" - the size is too small;

- provides good support while you can comfortably perform a couple of typical movements(jump or run in place) and feel that the bust is almost unmovable.
